Dime Al’le (Ah – Lay) born Diamond Alexis Ray, is an American R&B singer-songwriter, originally born in Fayetteville, NC on October 20, 1999. Since a little girl, Diamond has always been fascinated with music. Although, she never really sung in front of people and only sung to herself, like moments in the shower. Her talent was first recognized singing in the choir and on the praise team at her home church, alongside her mom and sisters. Soon later, she started taking general chorus in middle school and continued in high school. Throughout her education, she began performing in school talent shows and events. In 2017, after only completing 3 years of high school due to extra credits from honor classes and summer school, Diamond graduated from E E Smith High School, in Fayetteville, NC. She applied and got accepted into Fayetteville State University, majoring in Business Administration, where she feels more at home. At the age of 20, Dime Al’le’s career began after piquing the interest of a friend already associated with a recording studio, where she developed a niche in writing and singing songs. Her first album “Dime Al’le” was released in March 2020. It spawned two singles: “Slowly Crashing” and “Better In My Bed”.
